LunaRun
A downloadable game for Windows and macOS
About
LunaRun is a game set in the near future where mankind has established a base (or a colony) on the Moon to mine a newly discovered mineral that would prove to have applications in a variety of technological fields, including the development of hyperdrives that would allow for interstellar travel.
The main character (the Player) is one of the miners stationed on the Moon to harvest this precious mineral for the mining conglomerates to process it on Earth.
Story Summary
One day, while doing routine work in the lunar mines, one of the miners uncovers a hidden chamber that is soon revealed to host an unknown animal species. These creatures, who have been dormant for millennia, suddenly start attacking the miners. Seeing their colleagues being mutilated, panic ensues, and the remaining miners attempt to escape the mines.
The few that managed to escape realize that the creatures that followed them are seemingly harmed by direct sunlight and dare not come out of the mines.
However, that would not keep them safe for long as the dark side of the moon approaches…
How to Play
Move using the WASD keys (W is jump), avoid obstacles and the creeping darkness as you try to reach the goal of each level.
